Best Way To Thaw Raw Frozen Mutton
The best way to thaw frozen mutton is defrosting overnight in the refrigerator, by keeping the frozen meat on the bottom shelf of fridge for 10-12 hours or overnight. In morning remove it out, if still frozen in the centre separate the pieces and keep out for half hour. Ensure pieces are unfrozen before marinating and cooking.
A quicker way to Thaw mutton (outside the fridge) – When requirement is urgent

Do not remove the mutton from the pack
-
Immerse the pack in room temperature water
-
Keep checking and changing the water once it gets cold
-
In 1.5/ 2 hours the meat should be defrosted.
INSTRUCTIONS
How to cook Raw Frozen Currymia Mutton
To ensure best quality well-cooked mutton, thaw it correctly.
Pressure Cook as follows -

Keep on MEDIUM GAS FLAME for 5 – 6 whistles
Turn down flame to VERY LOW for 15 -20 minutes (set the timer). -
Turn off gas.

Let pressure cooker cool before opening.
Suggest to marinate the mutton before cooking for at least 30 minutes with salt, ginger-garlic paste, curd, turmeric and other ingredients as per recipe of your choice.
